  • Analytics exports: Download supported individual charts as PNG or CSV files for sharing and analysis.

Added

SitecoreAI Connector Option

SitecoreAI is now available as a connector option when you create a Site Search app. Select Sitecore as the Platform and SitecoreAI as the Version.

See Configure the SitecoreAI connector for supported content and guidance on when to use the connector.

Crawler Failure Details and Email Notifications

When a crawl fails, open the failed run from Crawler > History to see a failure explanation and recommended next steps.

Crawl Failure Details shows the error, error code, Start URL, when the crawl stopped, the number of pages crawled before the failure, and guidance under How to Fix This.

Site Search also sends an email notification when a crawl fails. The email summarizes the failure and links to the Crawl Failure Details page.

For explanations of individual error codes, see Crawler Failure Reference.

Analytics Exports

You can download supported individual charts from Dashboard, Searches, Content Items, and Smart Answers Analytics as PNG or CSV files. PNG exports show the chart as displayed. CSV exports contain the underlying chart data.

Individual exports use the current date range and profile selection.

Updated

Clearer Average Click Position Chart

Average Click Position shows where people click in the search results, on average. Lower numbers mean they’re clicking results closer to the top.

The chart now displays lower average click positions higher on the vertical axis, so the line rises when the average changes from 5 to 2, for example. It also excludes invalid negative values.

Upcoming Changes

End of Support for studioJS Vue2 (October 29, 2026)

Effective October 29, 2026, the Vue2 version of studioJS will no longer be supported or receive updates or bug fixes. Site Search will generate only Vue3 hosted search pages, and Vue2 hosted search pages will no longer be available.

If you use studioJS Vue2, plan to migrate to a supported version. Contact SearchStax Support for guidance on migration options.
