The September 17, 2026 Site Search release adds Smart Answers support for the React, Next.js, and Vue UI Kits. It also extends custom Analytics date ranges to 365 days, changes the default view on the Subscription page, and adds new options for displaying and opening search results.
Highlights
These are the most important customer-facing changes in this release.
- Smart Answers for React, Next.js, and Vue UI Kits: Add AI-generated answers to search experiences built with React, Next.js, or Vue using the Answer Widget.
- Analytics Custom Date Ranges up to 365 Days: Review up to 365 days of analytics data with a single custom date range.
Added
Smart Answers for React, Next.js, and Vue UI Kits
You can now use the Answer Widget to add Smart Answers to search experiences built with the React, Next.js, and Vue UI Kits. Smart Answers for React, Next.js, and Vue are available in UI Kit 4.2.50 and later. See React - Answer Widget and Vue - Answer Widget.
Updated
Analytics Custom Date Ranges up to 365 Days
You can now select a custom date range of up to 365 days in Analytics, instead of the previous 31-day limit. This lets you review longer periods without splitting them into several date ranges. How far back you can view data depends on your plan. See Dashboard.
Subscription Defaults to All Apps
When the App selector is available, the Subscription page now opens with All Apps selected. This gives you an account-wide view instead of carrying over your previous selection. You can then select an individual App to view its usage. See Subscription.
UI Kit Support for Grouped Search Results
The JavaScript UI Kit now supports grouped search responses, so developers can build search pages that organize results by fields such as content type. See JavaScript - Results Widget.
Open UI Kit Search Results in a New Tab
You can now configure UI Kit result links to open in a new tab, so users can view a result without leaving their search page. Links open in the current tab by default. See JavaScript - Results Widget, React - Results Widget, Angular - Results Widget, and Vue - Results Widget.
