Use the SearchStax SitecoreAI Connector to keep published Sitecore XM Cloud content synchronized with a Site Search app. The connector runs in your Azure subscription and sends content from Sitecore Experience Edge to SearchStax.
What the Connector Does
The connector indexes published, routable pages and supported non-routable content items. Sitecore publish and deletion events trigger updates through webhooks. You can also run an initial full index to add existing published content to Site Search.
The connector currently targets one Sitecore site and uses English as the default content language. Contact SearchStax to confirm your site and language requirements before choosing this connector.
When to Use This Connector
Choose the SitecoreAI Connector when you publish content from Sitecore XM Cloud and want Site Search to stay synchronized with Sitecore changes. Use the Crawler if you only need to index public rendered pages. Use the Ingest API if you need custom content selection or direct control over indexing.
For a broader comparison, see Choosing a Data Ingestion Method.
Before You Begin
You need a Sitecore XM Cloud environment and an Azure subscription to run the connector. You also need:
- A SearchStax Site Search app with its Update endpoint and Read & write token. In Site Search, find both under App Settings > All APIs > Search & Indexing.
- Solr 9 or later.
Contact SearchStax to confirm connector eligibility, supported content, and Site Search app requirements before deployment.
