Added

New features and functionality.

Custom Languages

Site Search now supports account-level custom languages for search experiences that need language support beyond the system languages provided by SearchStax.

Custom languages let you define a Solr-compatible language configuration, upload supporting language files, and add the language to compatible Site Search apps. After a custom language is added to an app, you can configure language-specific search settings, ingest content for that language, and test the experience in Search Preview.

Custom languages are scoped by platform. A custom language created for one platform, such as Drupal or Sitecore, is available only for compatible apps on that platform. To use the same language across multiple platforms, create a separate custom language definition for each platform.

For setup details, see Create and Manage Custom Languages in Site Search.

Search Input Clear Button

Search inputs in SearchStax UI Kits now show a clear button when the search field contains text.

The search icon remains visible while you type. When you enter text, a clear button appears next to the search icon, separated by a divider. When you click the clear button, Site Search removes the query text, returns the field to its empty state, and keeps focus in the search field.

This update gives you a faster way to clear a query without changing the search icon behavior.

Crawler Usage by App for Sandbox App Subscriptions

For accounts with sandbox apps enabled, the App Usage table on the Account Subscription page now includes a Crawlers column.

The column appears in both the Production Apps and Sandbox Apps tabs. Each row shows the number of crawlers where that app is the primary app.

The count doesn't include crawlers for apps that only receive data from a crawler created and configured in another app.
