A single Sitecore instance can manage multiple websites. This page describes how to set up a SearchStax Site Search solution on each Sitecore website individually.
Setup Steps
Here's what you need to do:
- Create a separate Site Search App for each individual website.
- Follow the instructions in the Sitecore Module page to connect a Sitecore website to a Site Search App.
- To create a Site Search project for a second site in the same Sitecore instance, follow the instructions again for the second site.
The critical point is that each site in Sitecore must have its own Site Search App. That way, each site gets its own search page, and data from the independent sites doesn't mix.
