Sync Drupal Version with SearchStax

During the app creation process on the SearchStax Site Search solution, you’re given the option to choose the Drupal version. This ensures that the configuration files created in Site Search are compatible with your version of Drupal.

Upgrading your Drupal version (for instance, from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11), creates inconsistencies that must be corrected.

The SearchStax Version Check feature upgrades the Site Search configuration to match your Drupal version.

Performing the Version Sync

Here's how you can perform the version check and sync operation on Drupal.

Step 1:

Go to Administration > Configuration > Search and metadata > SearchStax settings, then click on the Version check tab and finally the Check button.

Warning notification shows SearchStax app needs version compatibility check with Drupal 11, with an unchecked status in the version test table.

Step 2:

Log in using your SearchStax credentials. Click Continue.

SearchStax version check login form prompts for username, password, and TFA token to verify Drupal compatibility.

Step 3:

If you see a message stating that the Version is incompatible with existing configs, go ahead and click the Upgrade button.

Version check interface showing incompatibility status between SearchStax configuration files and Drupal 11, with options to re-check or upgrade.

This will execute the version sync process. There will be a Success message once it’s completed.

Version check page shows successful SearchStax compatibility with Drupal 11, displaying green status message and server compatibility details.

That’s it! Now your Drupal version is in sync with SearchStax’s Drupal version again!
