Use Advanced Configurations to manage Data Filters, Location, Ranking, Rules, and Sorting for your Site Search experience. These settings benefit from a developer's technical perspective.
Configuration Options
- Data Filters: Data filters let you add both Include and Exclude filters to place limits on your search results.
- Location: Use location data to return the most geographically relevant results.
- Ranking: Configure Smart Ranking and Field Ranking to adjust result relevance.
- Rules: Rules are if-then tools that let us modify the search results based on a "trigger."
- Sorting: Define the sort options offered by the current Search Profile.
Note: Location and Sorting are Profile-level features when your App has multiple Search Profiles. You can configure these settings independently for each profile using the "Save to Profile(s)" workflow. See Multi-Site Search Management for details.
