Sync Your Drupal Version With SearchStax

Sync your Drupal version with your SearchStax Site Search app using the SearchStax Drupal module.

When you upgrade Drupal (for example, from version 10 to 11), your Drupal version can become out of sync with your SearchStax app version. Using the Version Check feature in the module ensures that your SearchStax configuration files are updated to match your Drupal version, keeping your search experience running smoothly.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you'll need:

  • The SearchStax Drupal module installed and enabled.
  • Administrator access to your Drupal site.
  • Your SearchStax Site Search account credentials.

Sync Your Drupal Version

  1. In Drupal, go to Administration Configuration Search and metadata SearchStax settings.
  2. Click the Version check tab, then click the Check button.
The SearchStax Version check screen in Drupal, with the Version check tab and the Check button for a server highlighted.
  3. Log in with your SearchStax credentials and click Continue.
  4. If the version is incompatible with your existing configurations, click the Upgrade button.
The Check version compatibility screen showing an incompatibility error message, with the Upgrade button for a server highlighted.

A success message will appear when the sync process is complete. Your Drupal version is now in sync with your SearchStax app version.
